In this Book Nancy goes to the town of Shady Oaks to solve a mystery about the missing art museum employ called Grace, who mysteriously vanishes. Then, the towns people discover that Grace is actually in one of DeSantos\u2019 photographs. Some people think that it is because of a legendary curse, but the police don\u2019t take any notice\u2026 until another person goes missing. The man\u2019s girlfriend is a girl called Emily. Nancy is immediately on the case. Not long after she starts, her picture turns up on another one of DeSantos\u2019 photographs. She discovers a hidden door. who is the mysterious kidnapper and could the missing people be behind that door?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I found this book interesting and it did have a fairly good twist, however it wasn\u2019t as exiting as my past experiences with the Nancy Drew series. Though they did do a spectacular job on describing Shady Oaks and I was easily able to visualize the town. It was still entertaining, just not as entertaining as the other Nancy Drew books. Then again it helped me value the more eventful books more than I did before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I recommend this book to 9-11 year olds because it is a mild story compared to the other books and it isn\u2019t a huge chapter book and most kids should be able to read it in 3-4 days. It would be good for people who are into mystery and the arts of photography. I like Nancy Drew because not only do you get a story to read, but you also have a chance to try and solve the mystery yourself and have a deeper understanding of the text and you feel more connected to the story.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
